Summary
This article presents a number of ways of communicating astronomy topics, ranging from classical astronomy to modern
astrophysics, to the blind and visually impaired. A major aim of these projects is to provide access which goes beyond the
use of the tactile sense to improve knowledge transfer for blind and visually impaired students. The models presented here
are especially suitable for young people of secondary school age.
